Fairmount’s 125^th anniversary celebration

It was decided to give Hill’s 210 a tip for the catering of the Anniversary dinner.

We will give the DJ for the “dawn dance” Fairmount Bucks to make up for the low turn out to the dance.

Doug’s and 1901 club contributed financially to the Anniversary celebration.

We will give Fairmount Bucks to Dave Meyer for all the work done at the school for the Anniversary celebration.

Despite the rain the celebration was a success. The parade entrants all showed up, the games for the kids were moved inside the school but they were well attended and everyone seemed to have a great time!

We need one more set of brackets for the banners in town

New items

Next project under consideration is to help find a permanent building for the youth center.

Next meeting will be August 27, 2008 at 7 pm at the Community Center.
