Fairmount’s 125^th anniversary celebration

A discussion was held about the anniversary celebration planed for June 28th.

Ideas were…

All class reunion with a parade and games for kids, dinner, and street dance for two different age groups

Larry Luick is checking with Braun’s for a quote on catering

Arlen is checking with Hills 210 for a quote on catering

Monty has offered help from the Cub Scouts for cleaning and setting up or whatever needs to be done.

Arlen will check with Denise Wik to see if she is interested in lining up entries for the parade

Tina will check with Rodney to see if he is available to work the street dance

Deb and Tina will work on the mailing list

Letters could go to the schools in the area to see if they are interested in having a marching band.

Banners

Banners were just mentioned as an item that this group is looking into along with the ad sign.

Next meeting will be Feb 9, 2008 at 9 am at the Community Center.
