III. Treasurer’s Report

Sandy Mahler gave the treasurer’s report.

Old Business

Working with a woman in Fargo to get the forms filled out. Waiting on pricing for this work.

Banners

We need 16 rods and 3 standards as well as the banners. Spoke with the city mayor and he believes that the maintenance of the banners could be done by the city man.

New Business

Easter Egg Hunt

The annual Easter Egg hunt will be March 15^th at the Fairmount School from 10 am to noon. The 4H club is running the crafts and they will hold bingo. We are also including a food drive with the Easter Egg hunt.

Parade

Denise Wik will work with the planning of the parade. Bob Green is interested in have entries into the parade.

Red River Telephone might be willing to have something entered into the parade.

Mailings

Mailings were all sent out in the last two weeks. We have received a few back which went to the wrong address. Sandy, Tina and whoever else can, will work on up-dating the addresses of the letters that come back.

Thanks to Cenex for covering half of the postage cost on these mailings.

Dance

Arlen checked about security and we only need two sheriffs to cover both dance areas.

Dinner

Arlen received a menu choice list from Hill 210. We will make a dicision as to the final menu in the near future.

Next meeting will be March 12, 2008 at 7 pm at the Community Center.
